id look into registration laws between the two states he may need a title where he lives .but im guessing you do .if his state dont require a title all youll need is a bill of sale a previous reg and a vin verification. that should get you somewhere with the registry you need to find out the law on out of state vehicle registration where you live .its should be available through your local government or dmv website

yeah i am beyond upset i got this truck cause i had to sell my 08 ram to get out from payments and here i sit now with no truck and out more than 3 grand including parts i put on the truck i hope this works out if not i will b having on hell of a parts sale lol

the first guys number was listed and i called him he confirmed that he sold it on the correct date and now i am going to mail off a letter to the last confirmed owner to see what happens wish me luck

Got a friend that owns a garage? Take the truck to him. Have him get a mechanics lien on the truck. "sell" it to you for a buck, you take sales slip to DMV, and you get a title. (don't go to the same DMV..... )

^ I'd hate to point out the obvious, but your playing with fire. Have you tried simply taking this to your local PD? Small claims court perhaps? That way the courts can aid you in serving him papers.
