awesome? What? Are you a glutton for punishment?

Check in the FAQ section, there might be, not sure... there IS a factory service manual available though, its for the 01 model year, but, procedure is the same on your truck.

Are you kidding? I had lots of fun replacing it! Not many times do you get to rip the dash out of your truck!

But yeah, the service manual is your best bet for instruction. Just like a sore dick, you cant beat it.

I highly recommend getting a Mopar heater core from Mopar.BIZ (unless your dealer somehow can beat their price). Its made of brass and copper and has the foam covering just like the factory core. The cheap-*** cores at auto parts stores are made of aluminum and have no foam. I also recommend replacing the A/C condenser core. Read the thread I posted about replacing my cores (hint: what did I do with the dash?) and you'll find out why.

Default heater core

If you follow the shortcut in the threads above....i did mine in about 4 hours...no need to remove everything from dash like service manual says or discharge A/C...its not worth paying 700 to 1000 bucks to have someone do.
