Ok so i have a pretty stock 5.9. CAI, straight piped, soon to be kegger mod. I was wondering if i were to get a new tb would a 50 or a 52mm be a better way to go for me? Do you gain much power with the kegger and bigger tb? I am trying to get more low down power instead of power after 3k. I know i should get a tune but its out of my budget.

I guess i should have said for right now a tune is out of the price range. I am going to get a tb for 100 from the guy in the forums that does bores the stock ones out not the 400 dollar ones.
hemifevertunning.com Does anyone have a review for the stock/bolt on mods tune? How was your power after getting the tune as well as mpg and what bolt ons are you running?
I know you dont want to hear this but there is probrably 100 threads on just this and there is a poll in the FAQ section, so a little search and you will hours worth of stuff to read
RedHeadhunter is right, this fourm has a rediculus amount of threads about TB's and modding them. Dodgeram07 did a nice DIY write up on boring the TB. You can really do it yourself, and save the 100 bucks. I did mine in a total of 2 hours start to finish, including the drive to my local machine shop to have them bore it out.
