Default Engine ?

Thinking of buying a new crate motor wanted to see what anybody with more know how then me thought about this one. Thanks for any help

Ouch, 3300 bucks? Whats wrong with the current engine??

Would need a custom tune with that motor..... headers, free-flowing exhaust, and the kegger would choke it.... so, figger a hughes air gap, or mopar M1 intake, and a larger throttle body in the mix as well.

Mopar does offer reman engines with 3yr\100k mile warranty.

i was just wanting something new since my engine is about on its last leg. but im thinking of just beefing mine up mildly maybe just a top end build with cam. iv seen some krc stuff out there and thought about the 223 cam it seems like i wouldnt need much with it any ideas?

If you got the funds than why not, if not a short block for a grand might due , thats prob what i'd do,... a grand for the short block and a grand for the tranny and be done and happy for the next 130,000 + miles <---(maybe,if were lucky)

Gotta watch lift on the cam. The stock heads can't take much more without work.

Most certainly different springs/retainers/locks. Maybe machine the valve guides down......
