Front brakes, want to lock them up....
Cool.
You could try the 'finger method' of bleeding as well. (requires a helper.) Park helper in drivers seat, start at passenger rear (as noted), open the bleeder, stick your finger over the end of it, have helper pump pedal. Pressure will push your finger out of the way, but, your finger over the end of the bleeder will prevent it from sucking air. Watch the level in the M/C CAREFULLY, it's really easy to run it dry this way. Have helper keep pumping (within reason, remember your fluid level) until all you get is fluid. Close the valve, move on to the next one. Once you have gone all the way around the truck, pump up the pedal, and see how it feels. Start the truck, and make sure you have good pedal height. if not, start at the right rear, and do it all again.

ALL I want to do is lock up the brakes when I really NEED to!!!! Instead I roll another eight feet when I slam on the pedal at 50mph!!!!
The rear brakes were adjusted to the point the drum wouldn't go on and the backed down abit. Yes the pedal pumps up A bit with the truck running but the engine "bogs" down. ?!?...
Adjust the rears with the drums in place.... Did you have the drums turned by any chance?
The pedal pumps up "a bit"? If you can't pump the brakes up to the point where you only get an inch or three of pedal travel before the brakes start working, the rears are still way out of adjustment, or, you got a bad master cylinder. (or there is a leak somewhere in the system.......)
Does the pedal feel spongy still? Or does it feel solid once pumped up?

With the drums in place, turn the adjuster wheel a bit, try and roll the tire, (rear end jacked up obviously.
) You want the shoes JUST touching the drums. Just a wee bit of resistance to turning.
