Is the abs light and brake light on at the same time? Not trying to jack your thread...but I have those lights come on every once in a blue moon, yet my brake are all new and work excellent. Changing the sensor on top of the rear end will fix this? mine is Dana 60

I can give you a definite maybe on that....... I don't know. I would think that if the abs light comes on, the brake light comes on as well. If only one of them is coming on...... but, its a dodge. Who knows.

I have the same problem, ABS & brake light on. I have been researching and found out about grounding pin 13 and reading the code. This is only for 94-96. Going to give it a try and see what I find out. May be worth a try! Better that replacing parts without knowing whats wrong.

Does the brake light "test" when you start the truck?

Don't know if I was on the right pin of the OBD plug, but got no code. I could not find a picture of the exact 1, but found a different 1. Is it starting at the top row left to right 1-8 & bottom row L to R 9-16? Is this correct? If so, pin 13 has a metal connector and I did not get a code! I know the "key trick" and code 12 is starting and code 55 is ending. No code in between.
