abs light

Default abs light

Today i was puting in a cd player and found electrial tape over my abs light and found that it was on. I just bought the truck so im not sure if you can get rid of that light or how you can get rid of it if possible. its a 95 with 157 thousand on it

Does your speedo work right? If so, replace the speed sensor in the rear differential. Its right up on top. Easy to find.

I can't believe some one actually went through the trouble of putting tape over the light, instead of replacing the sensor in 5 minutes. LOL

Is your brake light on too? Or are we talking about the air bag light?

Someone colored over mine with black marker...... (on the van.) For some reason, all the sensor lines have been cut. Not broken. Cut. ALL of them. Not sure what someone was thinkin' there. (or, if they were thinking at all.)

Let's see, how can I get that light to turn off? Oh, I know, a pair of wire snips will do the trick. LOL


On a side note, If the OP just bought the truck, some how I can't help to think, that installing a CD player is on top of the list of things to do.

wouldnt the sensor trigger the brake light as well?
