'98 Ram wont idle

My wife has a 98 Durango and it was doing the same thing you are talking about. It would start and run as long as you gave it gas, but let the gas offf it would die. As it turned out to be the Throttle Position Sensor. I took it out and cleaned it and it ran fine, but I did go buy a new and installed it. It's on the back side of the TBI. Mine was heald on by two snall bolds.

83 octane???? Where are you?
A bit of moisture out the tailpipe is normal. That's your catalytic converter at work for you.
Well, keep driving it, and see what happens........ Still, it really wouldn't hurt to pick up a throttle body gasket, (couple bucks) yank the TB, and clean everything really well.
