I really like the MTZ's but which tire I get depends on how much money I have at that time. Those three choices cover $800-$1000 for all 4 35's

 

When do you need them buy? I HATE 4wheelparts. but in may when the 4 wheel jamborees start they offer really good prices and free shipping. All i normaly do if i dont go to a show ill call between them and a couple other companies and they will keep trying to beat each others price.

 

I use Tirebuyer.com and they have the best prices on the brands of tires they do carry atleast from what I've seen and its free shipping.

 

i run toyo open countrys a/t they are kinda expensive but great traction this is my 2nd set they are great in snow rain and off road no roaring either.

 

I loved my Toyo M/T's. Sick looking tire, but really awesome in just about every condition I had them in (for a mud tire). I have the Goodyear Wranagler Duratracs now. They look good (not as good as the Toyo's), but the verdict is still out on how they do. So far they have been good on wet and dry pavement and dirt roads. I have yet to try mud, snow, and ice.

 

I have the FCIIs and my little brother has the MTZs. I do a lot of traveling between central Fl. and middle Ga. so I needed a tire that would not crumble to pieces during the 360 miles on the interstate each way, but at the same time allow me to hunt/fish/etc. when I get up to the farmland.
He doesn't travel like I do and went for a little less road manners and longevity for a more aggressive tread.
In both cases I think they were the best choices we could have made.

They may cost a bit more, BUT the tires I had on my 2nd Gen were Mickey Thompson MTXs (pre-ceded the MTZs) and I had 68,000 miles on them when I traded the truck and they still had tread left. Judging by how my FCIIs look at 31k, I'd say I'll get similar use from them. So in the long run, they may be a good bit cheaper than other choices that initially cost less.

I know my brother's MTZs replaced Maxxis Buckshots and he already has more miles on his MTZs with more than half tread left that he got out of the Buckshots, and he removed them when they were just about slicks.

 

I have some Open Country M/T's I really like them, but I will be in the market for new tires in the next few months.]


What are peoples thoughts on the Kumho - Road Venture MT
