I think a mopar performance PCM would be better, but, those are getting extremely hard to find.

Unfortunately, there just aren't many folks doing custom tuning for OBDI engines any more. (at least, not for dodge....) May need to upgrade to an OBDII system, (96 or 97) in order to get the most from you engine.

what all is involved in switching over to an OBD2? do i have to change all the harness and connectors? or is there a way to do it simply?

Simply? Probably not. Need the PCM and harness from a 96 or 97 truck, with same number of cylinders. Manual trans would be best. (you can run some vacuum/pressure switches to control O/D, and TCC) You would have to re-pin some wires into the newer harness though. (anything that runs into the cab. It would be an exercise, but, it's doable.

Other option would be to find a standalone system, that will piggyback on your PCM. Those are easier, but, more money.

I haven't really been keeping up on those.... Several folks make 'em, Holley, etc. Maybe call Summit Racing, and see if they can help.
