Still getting the code?

Need to have a look at the wiring for the IAC. sounds like you have an issue there.

Grab a friend. Take the filter housing off of the throttle body. Disconnect battery negative lead, and tun on headlights for 30 seconds. Turn off headlights. Reconnect battery. Now, while you are sitting where you can see the IAC pintle, have friend turn ignition on. Does the pintle close all the way, and then back off a bit?

No. Don't do that. It will try and run the pintle all the way out..... It needs to be in the TB so there is a 'stop'. The PCM will figger that one out, you just need to be able to see what it is doing.

This may sound crazy, but whenever I change the IAC, I turn the key to the ON then OFF positions 10 times.(without starting the motor). Then I start it and the truck idles perfect.

I've been fighting this problem for about 4 years now, and still haven't figured it out. I have even replace the ecm as well all the parts you have, many times. Its got to be something in the wiring harness, I've been slowly working on taking the whole harness out and visually check every inch of every wire that comes or goes from the ecm.

You will see the point stick thru the little hole. Take a look down there, and see what it all looks like before you do anything else. Make sure you know what you are looking for, and where.
