no trans check valve

Default no trans check valve

ok i went to go do the check valve delete and my truck doesnt seem to have one...or maybe i am looking for the wrong thing i used the pics in the faq as a reference...

from me looking at your picture u dnt do u have an external cooler

Wow. You are correct, I do not see one in there.... No idea if they put it elsewhere on the earlier trucks, or, if it is indeed something that showed up later....

Should have been on the line that runs right above the lower radiator hose, and, it isn't there.....

i know i looked and didnt see anything that looked even close to a check valve. mine being a 94 maybe they didnt have on who knows

My 2 previous Rams (94 and 99) both had it. Also my current 01. Possibly an external trans cooler at one time? Or the line(s) have been replaced?

That's looking like it has an external cooler.

ok so i just went and took a vid and then i dug thru my old emails and found my build sheet it said something like this...NHBP Auxiliary Transmission Oil Cooler so i guess i answered my own questions...also i got my title and checked it says my truck is a 2500 but i have 5 lug wheels is this possible


oh and here is the vid i took the time to take it figured a few of you could suffer through it to hear my lovley voice HAHA

Good to hear you got your title but it sounds like the wrong one. Does your door jam Vin and Dash Vin match the title? What is the GVWR of your truck according to the door jam sticker? 1500's should be 6400 and LD 2500 about 7400. The LD 2500 should have an 8-lug Chrysler 9.25 HD but since yours is a 2wd Dodge may have been able to get the capacity with the lighter duty 5-lug axle.
