Transmission line help
Hello everyone; I will have to replace my radiator and was wondering what was the best was to remove the bottom trans line to the radiator. It's in a 97'' with a 5.9. Do i need any special tool to remove it? Thank's guy's..................Mike
Yep. Need the special quick disconnect tool. Any auto parts store should have 'em. You want the 3/8ths flavor. Do NOT get he X style one, that does a bunch of different sizes, it won't fit in the space available to release the fitting. (ask me how I know......)
aka "fuel line disconnect tool".
here's an expensive set.

Since I've got to replace a hose myself (due to weeping fitting), what is the part number for the hose that contains that check ball? I need to order one up and R & R before the old one totally lets go.
Thanks,
