I would have gotten dimpled and/or slotted, but Rockauto only had drilled and slotted.
I don't think they will be too bad. I don't tow/haul more than 3K lbs max. And that is only when i move (Which is every few years). Other than that, i don't tow anything. And all i tow is my motorcycle and flat 8x5 trailer. But the bed is loaded and fills the cap.
I am not worried about cracking, and I am pretty good at avoiding puddles on a dry day. I also DO NOT take my truck to be washed at drive through/in carwashes. Bad for brake rotors. They heat up, then they get supercooled in the carwash.

the pedal is not going in and out, it is more like a feeling that there are spots on the rotor where the pads bite harder.
When i turned my wheels with the truck jacked, I was met with little pad/rotor resistance (the one pad that touches the rotor), then it got a bit tougher to turn, then freed up. SO I am thinking rotors. I forget which side had it more, but one side had it and the other side didn't.
That was before and after i changed pads.
