Nah, it makes me think of my old woman who has a great degree of control in that aspect of my life.

We sunk an airboat in about 45 foot of wintertime florida spring water about 6 years ago. That boat had a 3 year old interstate "nascar" battery in it. When the boat went down all the running lights and hella's were on and it stayed underwater for 18 hours. When we finally got the boat back up and dried out, we charged the battery, and used up until about 5 months ago. That sold me on interstate batteries.

The ones they make to WalMart specs seem to be junk, and the ones they make to Ford specs (Motorcraft) seem to be highly thought of.

I happen to like Deka batteries. That's what my local father-and-son auto electric shop sells, and they really know their stuff. I don't think too much of Interstate, although I used to.

Heard a lot of good things about Optima as well.
