Default Looking for the best lift for a 99 Ram 4x4?

I was wanting to ask some advice in which lift kit to put on my 99 2500 Ram.
I want a spring lift and not a spacer lift. I want some good articulation and am looking to lift the truck 4-6 inches. I looked at the Sky Jacker double flex kit. Does anyone have any experience with this lift or any other lifts that would serve my purposes?
Thanks

Well, what are you gonna do with your truck? Are you gonna take it off road, are you gonna tow with it, or is it just gonna be a mall crawler?

Will move this to the main section for you.

Also, some friendly advice: do not post the same question in so many places. Post it in the forum section that is the most on topic, which would be this section here. Only post it once. Posting it in eight different sections can sometimes get you labeled a spammer.

No offense, just telling you how it is. Let some other guys read this, you'll get lots of opinions. Great resources of knowledge on the forum here.

Best kit I ever saw for a 2nd Gen 3/4 ton was the Cepek 6" eXtreme. I helped a buddy install this kit about 10 years ago on his 1997 Ram 2500. I liked this kit so much I contemplated trading my 1998 1500 RCSB 4x4 I had at the time to get a 2500 so I could get this kit...

That's a sweet longarm kit right there. ^^^^^ Though I think the dual shocks are a little overkill. Rock Krawler also makes a long arm kit that I saw on a guys 2500 once. It seemed to be a good kit.

PurplDodge,

Good question I plan on taking it off road, using it as a hunting truck and some moderate towing, mainly a trailer with a couple of quads. I live in Arizona so we don’t get much mud, mainly we would use it as a trail truck, it’s not my daily driver any longer so now I want to do some modifications.
Thanks For your reply.

Hammer Z71,
Thanks man that looks like a winner dose your buddy still have the truck? If not did he have any issues with the lift? How do you mount the bracket for the long arms to the frame? Did you have to drill the frame? Did he wheel his allot and if so did it allow for some good articulation? Thanks to you and everybody for their help!

I am looking for the best articulation; I REALLY WANT THAT KORE LIFT! However the KORE lift is a bit pricey for me and it does not bolt on to my year Ram. Do you have any other Suggestions?
Thanks for your reply!
