Default Gearing question

Hello everyone, gotta question for some of you experts. My truck has a 6in suspension lift with 315/75/16 tires which are 35s i believe, stock running gear with stock gears as far as i know. My truck is for street driving only, the only time i use 4x4 is if it snows like it did the past week or if i have to drive around on my inlaws farm. My overdrive is pointless, it nevers stays in it while driving. My question is what gears should i be running for my driving while retaining the d44's?
Thanks in advance for the feed back.

Spencer

If your truck keeps upshifting from overdrive, just press the "OverDrive OFF" button located on the shifter. It is much eaiser on your transmission, because it doesnt have to upshift as much.

315/75/16s are 34.6'' tall tires. 4.56s would work great.

Your truck doesn't have D44s, as in plural. There is a D44 in the front and Chrysler 9.25 in the rear. I agree with 4.56s.

ok thanks for the reply. Do yall suggest anywhere special to order gears from. I have experience swapping out gears (my 84 silverado broke a pinion and shot a piece through the rearend housing so i will be changing the gears myself).

I have also run both 4.10 and 4.56 with 35's, and 4.56 is definetly the best choice. Sometimes I wish I had 4.88's.

+1 4.56, if your not worried about mpg 4.88s

reliability is mostly provided from a CORRECT install
