I just noticed a hose coming from the pass. side front axle just chilling on the ground, it has a white plastic end piece that has a broken off tip, it looks like a vacuum line, but NOT sure, what is it and where does it go to, pics would be nice, TIA
Vent hose. Should be a clip up there somewhere for it. I think mine runs up behind the shock tower, on the inner wheel well. Little dark and cold for pics.
do I need the new white plastic clip at the end or nozzle, whatever its called? Does it actually go into something?
the white part doesn't, that is the vent portion. there should be a plastic clip that clamps onto the hose, and should have a door panel push pin style piece on it as well that will go into the fender. (look for a hole)
EDIT
Look towards the PCM, there is a black hose running up and a white vent on top.

the little white cap is a check valve that keeps debris out. if yours is lost you should replace it. i wouldn't think it would cost more that a couple of dollars new, or you could get one from a junk yard probably for nothing.
