Default Just programmed my keyless entry remote

Easy as pie. Just ground out the dark green wire in the upper left hand corner of your diagnostic port , and turn your key to acc. The doorlocks will cycle, press a button on your key fob and it will work the door lock. If you have 2 fobs press a button on the second one and it will work the locks too showing that its programmed. And Roberts your fathers brother.

I have an extra fob from a 2003 Durango SLT, do you think it will work on a 1999 1500 SLT? And which button did you press on the fob after grounding the green wire?

I can't see my wires, can you specify which pin location it is when looking from the driver's seat, please?

It was the pin in the upper left hand corner, dont be lazy i got my fat *** under my dash and removed the two screws that hold the diagnostic port in place in order to view the wires. =). I bought the remote off ebay ,and just press either button to program it. Dont know if the Durango remote will work.

Please forgive my silly question, but are you saying all I need is a fob and I can have remote locks? Or did you originally have remote locks and just lost the remote?
