Sick of my Auto Tranny, can I put in a manual.
Not sure what you mean? When I hear tuner, I assume performance mods. So I asked if I would/could get performance out of it to as long as I am getting a tuner.
I apologize if I am getting annoying, but if you have ever dealt with my dad you would know that everything has to printed out and submited in writing before he lets me do mods like this so I am trying to get everything figured out clear as a bell.

Well shoot...now I'll have to get a build sheet. Any where stamped on the engine for displacement? That would explain a lot if I'd been trying to get parts for a5.9 and turns out I'm running a 5.2.
The sticker on the hood says NV3500, but I didn't see liters...
Post you VIN and I could tell you I have a thing that says what each letter refrences to. But it should have 5.9L or 5.2L stamped on the crossmember infront of the radiator. That what mine has, along with spark plug gap, 134a refrigerant, stuff like that. Otherwise go to LMC Truck.com and open an online copy of there magazine, on the front page it will have a VIN break down.
This will be right as long as there hasn't been any major mods done.

That only depends on what parts you are talking about.
Hi friend!! Nice to meet a fellow gearhead! I did almost the same thing. Things are gonna get interesting for you!!
One pearl of advise is the 360s are externally balanced, meaning you will have to get a manual flywheel (tha auto and manual flywheels are different, just incase you didn't know) and have it balanced the same way as your auto flywheel. The pedal assembly includes ALL pedals, so you pull your dash, unbolt your master cylinder and remove the two pedal assy., then re-install the three pedal assy. Make sure you have a beefy driveshaft, as the output shaft is HUGE!! I have no reference on auto trans lengths, so I can offer nothing in the wat of driveshaft fabrication except I needed to buy a 1 1/4 ton output yoke for mine. A half ton manual crossmember is sufficient, but since you have the truck you might as well use the 3/4 ton x member. Also, the NV4500 is much less sporty but much beefier than a 3500. I can move mountains in first, low range and a 318!! Can I help you with anything else?

I have a list of questions to ask the owner, one is if he will need the flywheel off his or if I could get that. You need to get the flywheeled balance to match my motor? Don't you want it to be balanced not balanced to the motor?
Now my dads big excuss is it will decrease the value of the truck. Any truth to this? It wouldn't bother me a bit, but it seems to bother him.

You can get a flywheel from anywhere, just so long as it was designed to be used on the motor you bolt it too. 318's were internal balance, 360's are external, so the flywheels/drive plates are NOT interchangeable between the two motors.
On a truck that is 15 years old, I don't think the difference in 'value' is even going to be significant........

Thats what I told him. KBB gave a diff of 300 bucks. I say it should increase for two reasons, one it was not a factory option so there are not that many to come by which can be good anf bad. Two in todays day and age of good mileage no ones gona want one of these gas guzzlers anyways and if they.
The KBB value of my grandpas dodge hasn't drop at all in over 5 years. I was looking at buying it before i bought this one, and the kbb value was around 2200, 5 years later it is still over 2. BTW his is a 90 250 power ram.
Now maybe I am wrong on this next part but the value of his truck should increase BECAUSE its a manual. His is an 04 Cummins 6spd. There are not that many of them around and I have seen guys ask him if he wants to sell it because they are few and far between.
