Default Interchangeable Interiors?

I hope someone can help me. It seems to be a relatively simple question but the search button provided on definite answers.

I'm restoring the interior on my 97 Ram 1500 club cab. It's the "mist grey" interior. A guy in Dallas has a bunch of parts from a 96 Ram 1500 that he calls "blue/grey". A picture doesn't tell the true story on the color.

1. Will the interior parts interchange between 96 & 97? I figure they will

2. Were the interior grey colors the same shade on these 2 models years?

Thanks in advance!!

I do believe everything will be a direct bolt in.

I have heard tales of three different shades of gray...... but, I don't have any evidence one way or the other.

The shades are probably the same, but the little color specs in the seats might be different. Everything will bolt in.

The grey in the '97 model is darker than the grey in the '96 models. I have a wrecked '97 and the interior of it is darker than the interior of my '96.

Do you have two good door panels with power windows/locks/mirrors?

I'd ask about parting it out but the shipping would probably kill me.

Well... how's the dash?

Yep. Or, will you have them any time soon?

It sucks. It got cracked when the truck was wrecked. Before that it was good though.
