These trucks do weird things if voltage isn't steady.... a loose connection has higher resistance as well.... so, things just get..... Odd.

Have a look at the various cables, and see what they look like. If they are still in fairly good condition, just clean the connections, and call it good. If you don't like the way they look, replace them.

ok, so if need be. ill replace the battery to ground (ps pump stud) wire. battery to PDC wire. battery to starter wire. and wire (like 14 gauge) from battery ground post to starter. as well as the terminals.

as a matter of fact none of it looks too good and all of the connections in the PDC have dirt on them.

**im not sure if i can find a cable long enough to go from the battery to the starter...

I am having the same problem with my truck right now. Did you end up fixing the issue?

Don't think Matty has been around for a while.....

if you can get it to start, first, make sure the alternator is charging.... take it to your local parts store, and they should be able to test the battery/starter for you. (and its generally free.)

slow start is almost always a lack of voltage to the starter

I took it the store. My battery is more than fine and so is my alternator!

Recently though, my truck would run perfectly fine all day and then it just wont start. No crank no nothing like it would be the battery but its not. I did notice tho that a wire going to my starter and also going to my battery is like burned up sorta. When I replaced both it starts right up. If both my battery and starter are okay what could it be?

Loose connection somewhere. Check 'em all.
