i hope i'm doing this right.i need an answer to my question. I just replaced my engine in a 1994 1500 with a new 318 mag.replaced, plugs,wires,dist cap rotor etc. but i'm not getting fire to #2 plug or #6 plug any ideas?

 

You will probable have better luck going to the 2nd Generation fourm as our trucks are from 2002-2008 model issues..

 

Have you checked the stupid things yet? Firing order correct and Spark plugs at the correct Gap?

 

Are you getting no spark at all or a misfire on those 2 cylinders? What brand plugs did you use? Was the distributor removed?

 

it is a new long block. i use nkg plugs. no spark to eighter plug

You need to have the fuel sync reset then.

 

zman-how would you like to enlighten ALL of us on this "fuel sync" mumbo-jumbo??

im wondering how i'll set the fuel sync on my 408 stroker as well... (in other words.. how do you set fuel sync on a new longblock w/ new distributor?)

 

It may not be the OP's problem, but you need a "fuel sync" mumbo-jumbo" scanner to reset it, if the dizzy has been replaced or removed.
