Has it done this for a while (the tick) or only since hell froze over?
the cold makes oil slow to move...

Change the filter to a Ford FL-1A or a NAPA Gold 1515. The Mo-90 filter shouldnt be used on a V-10.

I read some Mopar TSB a while ago that the 3'' tall filter was not reccomended on the V-10's because the short filter doesnt have the capacity to fufil the V-10's needs. IDK if it is true or no, but I wouldnt take any chances

The ticking started when hell froze over. I had 5 30 syn in it so it would flow easier in the cold then it started ticking when it giot real cold. So I changed it to 10 30 synthetic. At 2500 mi on the 5 30 it started this bs with not making oil pressure on cold start. So I changed it (also note I added some sea foam to the crank case ran it a bit then changed it hot). Now with less than 500 mi on I changed out the syn to conventional. Actually I cheated It was to freakin cold so i took it in. I hate doing it because they rape you on price but It was cold and I didnt want to risk the no oil presure. If this dont work whats the next move? Also napa online says 1452 napa gold whats the difference?

The filter is longer. Its the filter Mopar used in the 60s and 70s, but stopped using in the 80s to save money.

It would appear the problem is resolved. I think it is the filter more so than the synthetic but will keep running conven anyway.
