Not sure on that....... dealer is hideously expensive...... can't search here on PCM, as it is too short of a search term..... Do any of your local yards have a parts locator service?

Might check with minton......

Im also looking for a wiring harness for the fuel pump, a while back my fuel pump stopped working and i replaced it but the new fuel pump didnt work, so i was just tinkering and plugged back up my old fuel pump and it started working, in an attempt to test voltage on the pump wires i cut them, and had to splice them back together, i dont like the idea of spliced fuel pump wiring so im trying to find the fuel pump plug wires and all, cant seem to find one, also whats the name of these wires? is it just fuel pump wiring harness?

What else is in that harness? It might join the rest of the harness for rear lights and such.

Junkyard is going to be your best bet, or, maybe Painless wiring, or some place like that.

not really sure what else but on the pcm trouble, minton doesn't have a single pcm for my truck, this is getting to be rather difficult.

Take the alternator out and have it tested by someone who knows how to hook it up to the machine properly, before spending money on the PCM.

Got a volt meter? Start the engine, test the voltage at the battery. It should be between 14 and 16 volts. If it reads 12volts or so, alt is not charging battery. You can also test at the output terminal on the alternator, if you are showing over 14 volts there, then the problem is in the wire to the battery.

Testing it in the vehicle is NOT going to isolate whether or not it's the alt. or the battery or the PCM. I would not have walked out of any parts store with an alt. that was not charging on the test equipment. The alt is bad or they have no idea how to hook it up to run a proper test.
