That truck is worth 3k at the very most with that many miles. All you're buying is a ticking bomb.

Over the summer I bought a 1998 Ram 1500 4x4 Ext. Cab with 133k on it for $3,300. That's a lot of money for that truck.

Okay, I was thinking pretty much the exact same as you guys. I will try to talk him down a bit or find a cheaper one. I am looking to find something that is in decent shape, and lift it up a bit put some 33's on it and have a good lookin truck and be able to have fun.

I think its worth a lot more than 3k...

those of us who got ours for 2800-3500 definately got a heck of a deal.

Based on what I've been seeing in the midwest atleast, 4500-6000 depending on condition is the going rate. (of course some of us pay a tad more, some a tad less).

In good condition, with that many miles however, I'd say it should be closer to the 5k mark, over 7 is way high. Under 4500 would be a great deal.

(I paid $3150 w/125k , but I've bought/helped buy 4 rams and several other cars in the last 12 months))
