i got old gray below for $650 .It has 230,000 miles since then i have a $600 paint job and about $400 in interior work. it only 2wd though. but i had one problem with tranny. had a custom tranny put in. then my number 3 piston busted off the motor so i had it bored .60 over with a perforance crank and cam with a timing chain. between tranny and motor another $2,000 most of the work was done by me. my truck runs had now i've had it on the drag track and it ran an 1/8 mile in 8 flat going an impressive 190 mph that was one time though so when ya add it up $3650 for the truck below

Yeah, that's way overpriced for that many miles.

I bought my 99 in April of 09 with only 96,000 miles on it for $3,800. It came with a boat load of extras that the guy threw in for free because his wife didn't want it taking up space in the garage. So within 2 months I sold the Ladder Rack that came with it for $400 and the Toolbox for $150. Kept the rest of the stuff.

You had a dodge truck going 190 MPH..... with a less than 4000 dollar investment?? Color me confused...... what type of engine did you put back in it?? Warp drive from the enterprise? Jet engine????

Yeah you got some typos in there no way you did 190, maybe 90 and a 8 second 1/8 aint gonna happen in these trucks unless you got one hell of a motor, maybe a 9 second run, but even a mustang with the mach 1 motor works to play with that line

RMIndy's best 1/8 mile is a 8.26 at 84.8

Uh, bull ****in ****. Straight up bull****. If this actually happened, (which I know it didn't) where did this make news? Surely a truck that does 2/3 the speed of Shockwave would have made news. Also, what tires, bearings, axles and hubs were you using? Tell me about the brakes and the fuel delivery.

If you're smart you wont be back.

Guys, I think he forgot to mention the flux capacitor and continuum transfunctioner mods. These put in tandem activation allowed him to slow the passage of time and defy the laws of physics.

Trying to help compare here, mines a 2001 quad cab, 4x4 5.9, had 115,000 on it when I bought it early last year. Came with nerf bars, fiberglass bed cap, towing package, just about fully loaded, and I paid 7k, and I felt I was on the high end the price range.

With that mileage, unless they are offering you one heck of a warranty, I'd walk away and keep searching.

I paid $5000 for one pretty close to ferguson30's. With gas prices going up, no one wants to but a big truck like that. Here in Ky that truck barely blue books for $5700.
