Ok so I took the advice here on the forums, put truck up on a lift, drained fluid, changed filter, and adjusted the bands. Put it all back together and the truck was still doing the same thing. Feeling all bummed out, I took the truck home and decided to take a flashlight and look around the engine. I saw a cable out of place (it was just hanging there). I hooked it back on, drove down the road, and my truck shifted better than ever before. I researched this cable on the internet and found out it was the kick down cable... I can't believe I didn't see it hanging off ( but I never thought to look there).

So technically I killed 3 birds with one stone tonight and all of that work combined has resulted in the best shift I could have ever imagined.

Thank you guys so much for your help!

Also just be FORWARNED!!!! Primarily what i do is transmissions and the most common complaint of trans problems is due from lack of service. Also IGNORE the chrysler MANUAL DO NOT PUT ANYTHING BUT ATF+4 in that transmission

Yup, that's what I put in earlier, Valvoline ATF+4.
