Question Hughes Plenum Kit Gasket

So a quick question before I dive into this on Saturday, do you guys use the plenum gasket provided with the kit or do you buy a different gasket(s) to use?

Thanks!

Since nobody else responded I'm going to assume that the plenum gasket in the kit is the way to go!

This question was asked more then a few times. There's no difference in the two gaskets. Do a search on it for further explanation.

there was with the kit I was sent.. I was sent the plain jane metallic type gasket as part of the kit- the one I got with the intake gasket set from Advanced (fel-pro I think) has silicon or rubber on/in it. fwiw- I'm thinkin' I'd trust the fel-pro a little more..

That's why I asked because the one in the kit is a metallic type.

I went and picked up the felpro gasket.... I didn't like the piece that came in the kit.

I've heard of people using the unit that comes with the kit with no ill effects, however, I too got the Felpro gasket.

Also used a felpro in lieu of the one that came with the Hughes kit. Two years later and its working great.
