acceleration problems

Well, currently I'm running catless. The plenum looks a bit greasy, but nothing pooling. The pcv valve still shakes.

yeah i do get a little burts of energy when it hits 3000 but i just figured that was because of the throttle body spacer looks like this weekend ive got a lot to check on the truck thanks guys ill look into all of them and get back to you if i have anymore questions

Throttle body spacer does absolutely nothing on these trucks. That's a carb/tbi trick.

If you suddenly get a burst of power at about 3K, chances are good your plenum is blown.

well the fuel filter is inside your fuel tank attached to your actual fuel pump, so to check it your gonna have to drop the tank or take off the bed and pull the pump "I have no idea why dodge decided to put the filter on the pump?"
