5.9L head gaskets...
So i bought a 1998 360 with under 100K but bad head gaskets... I just installed the hughes plenum kit on the 360 thats in my truck so i would swap the intakes around... is there anything i should know when doing this? tips? tricks? anything else i should change before putting it in my truck? any help would be greatly appreciated. I hope to get it ready to go in over the week after work and then swap it this weekend... Thanks!!
bought it off of craigslist, guy told me head gaskets... just took the heads off, gaskets and oil look ok but one cylinder has some rusting like it was burning antifreeze

head bolts - ok to reuse.
intake bolts - you're not supposed to. as said TTY which means they have some weird kind of stretch property, and are prone to breaking. there's some discussion in the past about using standard bolts and thread locker. no personal experience, but also discussion about TTY intake bolts being cheaper at the dealer than other places. it must be some dealer other than mine. i think mine charges me extra on everything...
