hurry grab ur wallet and run to topguncutomz you will not regret i did a custom 3 inch with a 5 inch rear block 3 inch lift coils and good ol blistins all around and love it . but i want a 2 inch body but dont know what else i would have to add
Going cheap in this case might not be the best thing to do. Said that I got the leveling kit from rough country and possibly upgrading to a 3in lift all around just got to decide on spending the extra 300 to go skyjacker or stay with them.
add a blocks= a good bump away from ur *** falling away from the truck ive seen it add leafs = nice better load but dont always garentee a solid lift
block replacment= huge thumbs up instead of adding 2 inch block i got a 5 inch and replaced it all
coil spacers= easier same ride quality dont look as good
new coils= stronger ride better flex and look nicer a little harder assembly

yeah i just dont want to spend a thousand dollars on just a 3 inch lift i would if i had like some really super nice tires and do a lot of offroading but i just want a few more inches of lift with a more agressive tire that makes my truck look a little more meaner but i was looking at that topguncustomz and they have some kits on there that are REAL cheap almost too good to be true kinda cheap so im just wondering what the catch is on those?? and is tuff country really not that good?? i dont wanna drop hundreds of dollars just to have something break down on me ya know what i mean? since i have bought this dodge seems to be one thing after another i have dumped a lot of money into this truck and i just want to make it worth it so yeah if you guys have any other suggestions let me know and again if i go with a 3 inch lift do i need to replace the shocks or will the ones i have now be fine?
If you go with the kit in the first post:
1. Factory length shocks must be replaced with new extended shocks to install this lift kit properly. Please choose shocks & boots in the "Options" fields above if you have not already purchased extended shocks.
So, I am going to guess that any 3 inch or greater lift is going to want you to install new, extended length shocks as well. Could always list your on craigslist, or some such.

In the frount yes in the rear not needed if under 1.5 of lift but 2 levels it out so yes you will and yopguncustomz is cheap But they lifetime most of them and shipping is always big haha just go coil spacers and add a block and shocks and boots as earlier stated . But stay of the trail as much as possible for those add a blocks can be dicey when it comes to alot of bumps on the road they will work beautifully for you
I have a 98 extended cab and want to do about the same. I've been lookin at a 3" lift made by rough country for $500. I like that they replace the coils and not just put a spacer on top. I don't know if that includes new shocks or not but I'm gonna check that out now. It comes down to money, bottom line. but you don't want to put crap on and have to mess with it later.
yeah how well does the add a leaf work for the rear end? cuz i dont go mud bogging or anything but i do ride dirt bikes so the roads that i hit are pretty bumpy and that would suck if the blocks slipped out or something ya know? so would the add a leafs be better for me? i will pay the extra money cuz like big guz said better to drop the money on a better kit then to have to end up ****in with it later on down the road or have it costing me more money?
