Yea the zuzoos sick, swapped in a ten bolt with 5.38 gears front and rer and toyota top shifter t case. Siitin on 39 inch tsls. Love it. Beefy will be pullin her around tho.

Here's a pic of the dropped upper control arm. I cut of that upper support only to reevaluate my plan and now I gotta weld it back on. Lol. O well. Those bolts are just for mockup, before anyone gives me any crap about it, lmao. Cradle should be done in about an hour. Lookin so good. Should be drivin to lunch sittin high up front. Will do the rear later today.

Looks awesome man. I seriously wish I had a 2500.

Off topic, I'd be worried about getting grease/dirt on those white shoes! lol

But he be so baller in those J's son!

I'm glad to see someone on this forum building things, instead of buying. Just wait until TheBigRedOne gets in here and bashes you for using a drop bracket! I'm getting muffins ready!

Haha, ya those are my employees feet lol. I don't do white shoes lol.

The main prob is no one makes anything for the 2wd. So I had to make it. I have no need for 4wd in this truck. So I did not want to swap it, although that would have been easier. And since all independent lift kits come with a drop down bracket he can bashb all he wants. But I wanted my independent 2wd to sit high so that's what I did. If he has a better idea though, I am all ears brotha.

You have any plans thats helping you build this or you just hacking away and doing what you think is right.....not trying to be a dick just asking(looks similar to the subframe drop kits that use to be available for us 1500's)

And it already has an aftermarket upper control arm what lift was on it, or do you not know?

Nope, no kit, or instructions or anything. Just going off of the experience of all the suspensions I have done in the past. I have bolted on probably 30 of those drop down crossmembers, and figured I can make one. And I did. Gonna be rolling out in raw fab for the next few days, and prob pull the crossmember and paint it this weekend.

I milled allignment channels into the upper control arm mounts, and triangulated the lowers. Should be able to tune the allignment in better than it was before.

The truck had a leveling spacer in it, but according to fabtech they never made a control arm for this truck, so christ only knows what type of shennanigans were gotten into. I also noted that the bump stop brackets were fabbed previously, the the front of the spring bucket had been cut. I don't think those control arms ever should have been there. But I triangulated it all so I should have a truck that goes where I point it now! Lol

Unhappy

Well after a full day of fab work, its done, except I fofoolrgot to get the new bolts I needed when I was at ace. And the fool at the wheels shop sold me lugs with the wrong pitch. But I will have pics with the wheels on fairly early 2mor. But here is the suspension with the new coils at about the new ride height!
