so heres how it all went down.

when i first showed up at the shop and asked if he could change my trans filter/fluid.

he told me he could as long as i had the filter fluid and pan gasket, he would just charge me for 1.5 hrs labor.

i then asked if he could change out a sensor or two since he would be in there and tighten the bands, and that i had all the parts/info to do it, just not the tools.

he said alright, he would change out what he could with what i had.(governor pressure sensor, solenoid and OD and lock-up switch)

i came back 4 hrs later and he said he could only change out the sensor because he would have to remove the governor plate to gain access to the solenoid and that i needed the gasket set to complete the job.
but he did follow the directions carefully on adjusting the bands and only charged me $133 total. also asking me where i found out all this information and if he could keep the disc?

so i need to look on wittrans to find the valve body gasket set.

as for the trans... i think its shifting alot smoother than before in all throttle positions, so i cant wait to see how the new BW gov solenoid is gonna feel.

i think asking him to change my filter first was a $$$ wise decision compared to straight out asking him to tear apart my valve body and thus saving me a couple benjies.
