Default 4X4 Indicator Wiring

i hope you guys can help me i have a 97 ram 1500 i did a auto to manual conversion, now i looked more into my truck and someone had either melted the front wiring harness or damaged it someway so they spliced it back but left out the 4X4 indicator light harness. now anyone have a diagram that i can use to rewire that back it or does any one know if its possible to replace the old harness with fog lights with one from a 99 dodge with out what is easier to yall

oh and yes my 4X4 does work the people who did this left the wires un hooked connected to the frame and there is no plug or loose wires in the conduit

Grab the 01 service manual from the FAQ section here. Wiring for the 4x4 light should be the same.

Go to a parts store and get a Haynes manual too. For your 97, it may be more accurate than the 2001 FSM download.

thanx hey you but there must have been changes between the 97 an 01 in the wiring cause there is no match between the schematics and my truck

i have a haynes manual and its not worth a flip on wiring diagrams. they're just generic pictures.

put up a post title asking for 97 service manual. someone might have one on CD. you can google it and ebay search it. before i found the 01 here for free i actually bought one on cd. i'm sure the 97 is out there on cd and/or paper books.
