really need help with trans problem

Connector may be secured by a bolt.... Not sure on that. Poke around, and see if you can find one. If not, it will just be a locking tab on there somewhere. Considering how long it has been on there though, not surprised it is a bit reluctant to come out.

So after I disconnect the connector way does it mean if it does or doesn't go in gear

if you unplug the connector and drive it, starting in L1, you should be able to shift through the gears, L1 then L2 then drive. If it shifts okay the your tranny is okay.

but the governor pressure sensor/solenoid are not.
