Given that you have everything to do the swap..... which motor is in better condition? What is wrong with the truck that currently has the 10 in it now? Do you care about gas mileage at all? What do you do with the truck? (daily driver, tow/haul, off road?)

both motors run well..i prefer the dually over the single axel..this truck will be used to pull a 20+ foot camper...i need some parts off the 2500 to make a real good 3500..the truck will not be a daily driver but it seems like to me the v10 gets about the same gas milleage as the 360.

The V-10 definitely has a bunch more power/torque than the 360. If you have the time, motivation, and place to do it, go for it.

Keep in mind that parts for the V10 can be hard to come by.

aftermarket performance parts, most certainly. Stock replacements can be had at any parts store. There just isn't a lot of market for HP parts for the 8liters in the trucks for some reason. (and those you DO find are hideously expensive......)

There are headers, and free flowing exhaust systems available. Not a bad idea for a tow rig. Install won't get any easier with nothing in the engine bay either.
