Default 01 Sport Off-Road.. What t-case do you have in yours?

Just found out that the original owner had the t-case replaced and the place that did it put a 242 t-case in it. It originally had a 231 in it.

Anyone have any issues with having a 242 t-case in theres?

"wrong" is a matter of interpretation. If it works, it's fine. But, no, it never came on them from the factory.

242 is a full time 4wd transfer case. if it works, why would it be "wrong"?

I know nothing about them. So how is it full time 4wd? I heard someone say that it has part time and full time.

Is 4Hi part time and 4Lo full time?
