Interior upgrades, no spray paint, lol
Yes I did custom build the center console, and there is definitely enough room for a sub facing the bottom.
Here is the thread of my console build, just remember, it is 3 inches shallower than it is now.

The seat covers are a breeze to get on, you can put them on with the seats still in the truck. I even got the covers for the middle seat as well. It only ran me $179 plus an extra $30 for the middle seat. You can get these directly from their site, or their ebay store, which is where I got mine. It does take about 3 weeks as they have to make it for you. There are many colors to choose from, you can either go solid or two tone. It is a heavy duty vinyl, but it feels and looks like leather.
The arm rests are a little different, once you take the door panel off, and lay it down, you will see the arm rest is riveted on to the door panel with plastic rivets, and then the rivets are melted to the door panel. You can either melt the rivets off with a soldering gun, or what I did, just used brute force and popped them all off (It does take some force), then you just remove all the staples, and original confetti fabric. Then recover with some thin foam and upholstery of your choice. Instead of melting the rivets back onto the door panel, I just used bolts, to give it kind of a tough/street rod look.
Hope this helps guys.

I know I would have no problem building a box like that but damn, I dont have a clue on how to upholster stuff. I think that would be the biggest problem. Yours look likes it could be a factory item its done so good.
I learned how to do it on this project. I never really did it before this either. A heat gun and a blow dryer are your friend, along with spray glue, staple guns and a whole load of patience. You might mess up at first be you will eventually get it right.
i was also looking into those seat covers from ebay... but i was talkin with a friend of mine about it and he said for that price i could just have them reupholstered for around 250 or 300(he had his rear seats in a GTP reupholsterd). i would just check around at some shops near you and see what they could do it for... if you can find a good deal thatd be a better route then seat covers.
