transmission problem

it did run once after the transmission but i pinched the wires to the crank position sensor so it ran like crap then died after that got it replaced and this is when it died again i went over everything possible and everything checks out fine

Where did you get your crank sensor from?

ok this has nothing to with with my truck well some what would a 94 318 engine and a 73 318 work together like could i take the heads and intake off the 94 and put it on the 73 and are the transmission have the same bolt up pattern

Trans has the same bolt pattern, beyond that though, things start to get really different. you might be able to use the LA (older) block, but, heads, intake bolt pattern, etc, are different. I am not entirely sure that the newer heads will bolt onto the older block......

sorry i keep posting on this thread but i cant figure out how to make a new post but anyways i finally decided that im going to take a newer dodge 5.7 hemi trans wiring and drop it in my 94 but i was wondering if any of yall know what else would i need to do to my truck to make this work properly

no im putting in a new transmission with with engine and putting a new wiring harness on it
