Default project update with lift

Hey guys...Just wanted to do a project update.
In Sept. 2010 I bought a '98 1500 laramie 5.2 club cab.
Since them I've been working on it

Still got to paint and add plastic to front and rear bumpers.

Also on the inside I got a Jensen VM9214 DVD head unit
got an amp wired, but still need to get some subs.

Also for the truck I bought flowmaster 40's and smoked taillights, haven't gotten around to them yet.

What do you think so far?

future plans are:
-got to get an alarm for it.
-sub or subs, not sure yet
-fender flares, all the mud on the truck was from driving about 1 mile, if that, going about 15 mph.
-build a center console
thats all I can think of now

Wow, looking great! Congrats!

Oh, and I hate to be a fender flair downer, but I wouldn't put them on for the sole purpose of keeping the mud off the side of your truck... because it wont stop it. Trust me. Been there, done that. Now, if you are doing it more for looks, than have at it.

Also, the flairs will rub the hell out of your new paint job and scratch it up... it did on mine, and I used the black rubber strip too. Also, flairs mount to these trucks by drilling self tappers into the bottom edges of the fenders. That is a recipe for rust... took my tuck a few winters for that to begin in the "new" holes.

thanks everyone.

olyelr-thanks for the info. I was just going for the reason of the keeping mud off of it. I am so/so on the look, and don't like the prices at all. So I might wait a while and see what happens.
