Default confirming a short at the computer, is that bad

HI, iv been reading all these posts and som people know what there talking about. i have a 1999 dodge 1500 5.2 with 200,165.
...i found a short on a single wire were the plug meets the computer... iv traced the wire to the fuel injectors, ignition coil, 02 sensors, and they all checked working with the volt meter. my fuel pump kicks on everything works, my engine cranks, i get a spark at the plug, no fire?
new ignition coil, new distributer cap/rotor...
The question is what should i do next? everything tests alright, cranks but no fire how should i fix the short at the plug were it meets the computer ?

Shorted to what?

The injectors are getting power? Does the PCM fire them? What's your fuel pressure?

Did any of the codes come back after your repairs? Is it still running rough? How's fuel consumption?

The pins next to the one in question are a couple of trans control functions..... so, I could see if they were shorted to each other, things might get interesting......
