If you are getting a knock sensor code..... I think you have troubles with the PCM. I didn't even know our PCMs had the code in 'em for the knock sensors they don't have.

Did some searching on this, and the only other thread I found related was right here on dodge forum...... no resolution for it though.

One commonality I DID find though was.... SCT Tuner. The previous poster had set his back to stock though..... I don't know if that resolved that code or not.

I think this has to be a software/PCM fault...... If you have another PCM to try, or, can get one rather cheap, give that a shot, and see what happens.

yep, i seen that thread too. among a few others. and none has any real resolve. or atleast any feedback to a solution. ill see how much a pcm costs around here and try and get it flashed to my vin. hopefully solving any issues. i wonder if the pcm i have, just cant handle it. maybe a 360 or performance pcm would be better?

The PCM's aren't any different internally for 318 vs. 360, or even auto vs. manual..... just the programming changes.

The only issue with using the performance pcm is that if you return to a stock tune, you still have to run higher octane gas. The SCT tuner can still rewrite a performance PCM.

You won't need larger injectors unless you increase the cubes or boost it.
