Or the timing was too far advanced. In reality, you should NEVER get that code with the 2nd gens, as there is no knock sensor to fail. Of COURSE it isn't getting a signal from it, it isn't there......

i found my programmer and flashed it back to stock. the code hasnt popped up once so far. ima give it awhile on stock and then reflash back to sct, to see if it comes up again.

haha, well that lasted me a little longer. got me about a few hours before it came back. instead of down the block before popping up.

Knock sensor code again? Do you have another PCM you can run for a bit?

yes, same knock sensor code. no i dont have another pcm yet.

you think a broken iat, or one too hot will cause these issues? i have my iat relocated into my airhat. but the airhat doesnt suck cold air, its all hot air from under the hood.

shouldnt be a problem, I ran an open element for three years and never got that code for hot air.

Can anyone verify that code is correct? Don't know why there would even be a knock sensor code to begin with.

You can try a new iat, go to a guy that will take it back if you don't need it. My moneys on something else though.
