Don't know if the coil swap will work on the 2 bys. I know it does on the 4s though.

"Best" and "Cheapest" are also pretty much mutually exclusive...... (I.E. they don't go well together....)

Here is a 2" kit.......

best way spindles

cheapest 2.5in lift springs(ebay) and a factory 3in rear block form a 4x4 dodge

but on 2wds when you get up into 2.5in 3in for sure your going to need new upper control arms, for angment and the stock c-arm hitting the spring bucket

anything over about 2in you will want longer shocks,, 3in you will need them

i have a 1.5 daystar spacing in mine leved the truck and it only costed 40bucks

you can also do a body lift

3" will eat your balljoints without aftermarket upper control arms to correct the geometry of the suspension. Trust me, im running 3" now with stock shocks and stock control arms, and its not worth it if you want "cheap". Still drivable, just uncomfortable and your shocks bottom out going over bumps and such. My advice? Either cough up the $900 for the Fabtech 3" performance lift, $400 for Fabtech or Doetsch Tech lift spindles, or only go 2.5" with a Daystar spring spacer. There is a lot more to worry about than just lifting your truck, especially with our IFS. Or you could go body lift if your just in it for looks. Im trying to "teach" myself how to design a mild long travel suspension. Thats another option, but not exactly price friendly...

Body lift with Hockey Pucks. You just need to get the front and rear bumper brackets.

Good old Canadian trick. You would never know the difference

.......just my thoughts........

you may be ok with hocky pucks on a s10 or jeep, but i wouldnt do it on a full size truck that i drove every day

hockey pucks around a around 1 dollar and thats a 1in lift

or for 2dollar or a 1dollar more, safer and made for it
