thank you guys very much for the responses. I appreciate it. I think i'm just gonna go the easier route and get some 3" coil spacers from ebay and put my stock coils back in. If i'm correct i won't have to do any other suspension upgrades going with the 3" lift correct? I do already have upgraded shocks.

You MIGHT have to do the trackbar sooner, but don't quote me on it.
3in is the most you can run on the stocker, after that, it's an adjustable unit you have to use.

I indeed did it again to Mr. Stewie. I did however forget that the OP has a 2WD, 3in spacers might hurt some components in the 2WD trucks, idk since I don't own one.

3" spacers on a 2wd (not sure about the 4x4s) will put your front suspension at max. 2.5" spacers would probably work fine.
