Default Some more pics need advice

Hello if you would look at these two pictures there appears to be a random hole in the block, its rough and rigid, looks like it was worn thru not a factory hole on both sides. what am i looking at is it damage

what do i have here

what was the reason you tore the motor apart? it must have done something....

lol unsure what that has to do with the question but, i was bored and last oil change i noticed my oil was mixed with something so i decided to rebuild the motor before anything bad happened and its a 96 so what the hell right.

were all the pushrods seated in the lifters upon disassembly?

yes all the pushrods were seated correctly, i had the rods checked this morning and the shop said they were still good i plan on replaceing them anyways.

95ram360

the oil was just beginning to show mixture it wasnt exactly chocalate milk, when i pulled the dipstick there was white spots and oil, it wasnt mixed, so i wiped it off and checked it again and there was more white then oil

Good chance the intake manifold gaskets were leaking... while its off you may as well just do the plenum fix

hey thanks should i be concerned with the holes will they get larger, id hate to put alot of money into an engine that may crap out.

also why would a bad gasket or a leak cause the holes in the block i ask because i dont know?

To be honest I have no idea about the holes in the top end, but as far as the gaskets go they just get wore out over time. Mine was leaking antifreeze into cylinder 8 so I pulled it all apart and put new gaskets and did my kegger mod. Use the Hughes plenum plate when you go to replace the plenum gasket, you wont have to worry about it.

I would say dont worry about them holes. Just cause there are holes cut out and can see the cam, but again I have never seen that before may just want to wait to get a real answer from someone
