yes all the pushrods were seated correctly, i had the rods checked this morning and the shop said they were still good i plan on replaceing them anyways.

the oil was just beginning to show mixture it wasnt exactly chocalate milk, when i pulled the dipstick there was white spots and oil, it wasnt mixed, so i wiped it off and checked it again and there was more white then oil

Good chance the intake manifold gaskets were leaking... while its off you may as well just do the plenum fix

hey thanks should i be concerned with the holes will they get larger, id hate to put alot of money into an engine that may crap out.
also why would a bad gasket or a leak cause the holes in the block i ask because i dont know?

To be honest I have no idea about the holes in the top end, but as far as the gaskets go they just get wore out over time. Mine was leaking antifreeze into cylinder 8 so I pulled it all apart and put new gaskets and did my kegger mod. Use the Hughes plenum plate when you go to replace the plenum gasket, you wont have to worry about it.
