That's where the check valve is located? I'll remove it if that's the case. I always thought that the check valve you all talked about was in the tranny.

So is that tranny fluid running through there or coolant? My guess is tranny fluid?

Check valve likes to clog up, and prevent ANY flow.... trans overheats, and smokes itself.

There are a couple of DIY's on how to get rid of it in the FAQ section here. One way builds a new line, that connects the same way as the original, just without the check valve. Other way just replaces that section of hose with just a piece of hose, and some clamps. First method is more reliable, second method is cheaper. Only costs a couple bucks. Still others have removed the line, drilled the little check ball out of the valve, cleaned it out nice, and reinstalled it.... Mine was leaking at the crimps, so, just a piece of hose for me.
