Default Hughes is ridiculous...

So a while back, I bought a FI Air Gap from the for sale section. It didn't come with the 2 spacers and only 3 of the 4 fuel injector rail relocation clips. So I dicided to email hughes and see if they'd sell me some. I was thinking maybe $25 TO $35 shipped. Well, fast forward to today when I got there reply via email:

I can supply all 4 brackets and both aluminum spacers for $50.00 plus freight.

That's ridiculous. It comes out to $8.40 per item PLUS shipping. As a business owner, I understand making a profit, but that's just out of this world pricing.

So my question to you guys is, where the heck can I get a 2 1/2 and 3 inch long spacer? The longest I found is an inch and a half.

Good point, I'm just wondering if they'd take such a small job like that. Guess I'll have to check on that one. I was kind of hoping that there was somewhere I could buy it though. Rather then having it made.

Can you post pics? If they are really simple, there might be something else you can use that will work just as well.

Edit: After I typed that.... I realized, if you could post pics, you wouldn't need them would you?............ Senior moment. Links to pics??

Stack 'em. The torque on the bolt will force them downward enough that it won't be an issue.

You think? I just don't like half-assing anything. I'm one of those **** type of people...as much as I hate to admit it.

Won't be a difference man. It'll work just as good. Hell, you could find some pipe and accomplish the same. It will work as good, and won't ever be known unless you point it out.
