Which TreadWright Pattern is best for gas mileage / towing / highway driving?
Which version did you get, and how did the tread last on them?
ever bought a new set of tires, had them mounted and balanced, and at later inspection, noticed the little silver things stuck to the outside edge of the rim?? Those would be the weights they had to use, to balance your "perfect" new tires.
Oh, and also...my wifes 5 month old, bought brand new, wally world tires are weather cracking already. My 4 treadwrights show no signs of cracking at all.

Seriously though, unless you know the shop manager at that wally world well, double check EVERYTHING they do. Heard way to many stories about tires falling off because lugs weren't tightened and using air wrenches on the oil drain plug. Experienced the latter example personally, had to help the father-in-law get it off his car. Not fun.
They usually do the same quality any quick lube place would do... which is not good.
C'mon now, lol. Have some more faith in your local walmart. They help keep the bums employed.
I did not let the wally world crew mount, balance, or install the tires. They were just the cheapest place for 2 new tires, for the wifeys car on the night that I needed them. Buddies got a shop for the actual work.
Anyways 2 new front tires before winter...5,6 months later weather cracking already. And as far as a quick lube goes....long while back, i took a car to a J^%&$ Lube shop, and when I left, I literally had to turn the key twice, 50% of the time, to start the car. Not even sure how it's possible but majority of the time, when I got in to leave work I had to turn the key to start position, turn it back to off, then back to start again. Wouldn't make a sound the first time I turned it. Never did that before. No idea how or why, but ever since then, I quit being lazy and do my own oil changes. Tis the only 100% way to know what you're getting....Oh wait, I buy my 5 qt. jugs of oil at wally world...nooooooooooo.

Riighhttt... What I was getting at is they will be more variance in a retread then a completely machine mfg'd tire. Don't nuke this.
Here's my new tires, mounted and balanced. They are sexy, whitewall, and no one will ever know they aren't BFGs seriously. If I didn't buy them, I wouldnt know if they were BFGs. After I had them mounted and balanced, I asked the guy if they would ever mount retreads because I was thinking of buying them. He said he didn't think they would...
Very happy with the car now. It also rides beautifully... Much better than it did before. I was worried the Wardens wouldnt be "aggressive" enough, but they look great in person. Sorry my droid camera seems to be going downhill a bit, but heres some pics atleast. What do you think?
